‘HONG KONG FERRY’ (CATHAY)

This design is a playful representation of the iconic Hong Kong skyline and the famous Star Ferry. I created the image using photos that I took in and around the ‘Fragrant Harbour’ like the old-fashioned junk boat and high-rise apartment buildings, which so many people think of when they remember HK. Alongside my own illustration, I also added some vintage graphics of birds and fish to represent the raw mix of HK architecture and wildlife that coexist in this busy bustling city.  The planes in the pictured design are loosely based on the ‘Cathay Pacific’ colours. For any Dragon Air families, I also have a version with ‘Dragon Air style’ planes on it.
