Louise Hill Design produces artwork prints of original designs created using a mixture of Louise's own photography, illustration and patterns, vintage imagery, and photos of textiles that have collected over the years. Iconic prints of Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo are amongst the collection. In addition, there are Limited Edition prints available on small runs of 100.

Printed in archival non-fade Giclee inks onto fine 310gsm German Hahnemuhle etching paper, then hand finished in gold foil. Framed with a frame colour of your choice, behind ‘acetate glass’.

STRETCHED FRAMED CANVAS - Limited Edition of 25

Printed in archival non-fade Giclee inks onto fine 100% cotton canvas, then stretched over a wooden frame and hand finished in gold foil. Lastly, finished off with a Champagne colour floating frame surround or in a colour of your choice.

We suggest framing in the ‘CHAMPAGNE’ option to pick up on the foil silver and gold hues in the design.

THE STORY BEHIND THE PRINT...   

This special Limited Edition version of my ‘China White’ design features lots of added little foiled details in 3 colours, vintage gold, sparkly Champagne and Antique Silver. I really enjoyed adding these precious details to this design to highlight the metallic subject matter in the artwork, the metallics catch the light and add an extra effervescent dimension!

I love to work in bright colours as my life is full of vibrant colour and energy.. but as part of our busy lives we also treasure our quiet moments, the complementary opposites of Yin and Yang that make up everyday life in Asia. So for this design I wanted to create a peaceful composition, a calming delicate and gentle piece that still includes all of my much loved vintage imagery that comes from China, Hong Kong, Singapore and South east Asia. I spend many weeks taking photos outdoors, taking inspiration from daily life and the beautiful cultural places that I come across. I love to spend time collecting vintage fabrics, buttons, ribbons, tea flasks, tiffins, ceramics .. all of which fill my studio cupboards and shelves to the brim, each waiting for their turn to feature in one of my designs!

FINISH & CERTIFICATION:

Each print includes a 'Certificate of Authenticity' sticker sealed with my gold foil logo, embossed stamp, signature and edition number for attaching to the back of the print once framed.

WALL HANGING INFO:

As this is a large piece, it comes with two hooks in place on the back of the framed print and should be hung on two screws in the wall, on the left and right corners.  Please ask a handyman or a local framer to hang the piece for you.
