" Singapore is my current home and a fascinating melting pot of culture, history, community and stories. Known as 'the little red dot', this print features famous historical sights such as Raffles Hotel alongside more recent cityscape additions of the Singapore Flyer and Gardens by The Bay. The majestic Marina Bay Sands is playfully adorned with the colourful heritage Peranakan tiles which are seen on shophouses and pavements around the city. Keeping careful watch over proceedings is the city's emblem - the Merlion - who stands in the port opposite the Esplanade. I spent many enjoyable weeks gathering together all the iconic imagery of Singapore and then wove them together to create an intricate, multilayered piece which I think reflects the harmonious vibrancy of this wonderful city. "
